Our Veggie Box

Our rainbow chard.... beautiful!

At R & B Farm, we’re proud of the way we grow our gorgeous produce – free of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers. And, we're super excited to be able to offer you a weekly "Veggie Box" CSA program!

So, what’s a CSA? CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It’s where wonderful folks like you pledge to support a local farm like ours and, in doing so, share in the rewards of food production. The CSA movement began in Japan in the 1960’s as a result of issues of food safety and urbanization, and soon inspired other farmers around the world!

CSA means that you know where your food is coming from, how it’s grown, and who your farmers are – in our case, Randy and Bev Haines!  It means you are able to feed yourself and your family with the fresh abundance of the earth, without having to worry about chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides lacing your produce. It means no extra packaging to clutter the Earth, and the minimum of fuel used. It means you get to eat food at the peak of freshness, not after it has lost much of its nutrition having travelled thousands of miles. It means that with the generous amounts of produce we pack into our CSA boxes, overall you’ll likely end up spending less money than you would at the grocery store.

Finally, CSA means you get to experience a wider variety of produce than you probably would normally purchase! And, you’ll get recipe ideas and nutrition tips as a bonus! We’ve named our CSA program, the R & B Farm Veggie Box!

Sign up today, and delight yourself and your family with the good things we grow. Real food like carrots, beets, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuces, mixed salad greens, kale, basil, melons, squash, cabbage, celery, fennel, leeks, onions, and more!

Plus, as our valued customer, you'll be offered a discount on any cooking classes, health talks, health retreats, or farm dinners we host! You won’t want to miss any of our delicious events!

As well, this year, we're checking out the possibility of collaborating with other local food providers to offer you the option of ordering additional items such as fruits, honey, baked goods, etc.

Head on over to our Veg Box Q&A page for all the great details. Then email us for our Information Sheet if you're ready to treat your body to totally natural, deliciously real food. Email: bevhealth@gmail.com
